Gardiner
Montana, located at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park is the only
entrance open to cars year round. This gateway community at the North Entrance
is completely surrounded by mountains, streams, and valleys. Gardiner can
be described as a quieter community, which is ideal for visitors seeking a more
tranquil Yellowstone vacation. The most famous structure of Gardiner is
the Roosevelt Arch, dedicated by Teddy Roosevelt in 1903. Although much
has changed over the decades, Gardiner remains a charming small town on the edge
of the Yellowstone River, and the North Entrance to America's first national
park.
